It is possible to check your personal data in various national databases through the X-tee query portal at the address www.eesti.ee and to use the services related to the records.
- In order to register yourself for an exam or check your data, you must access the National Examination and Qualification Centre after entering the X-tee query portal.
- To register for the exam on the Constitution and Citizenship Act of the Republic of Estonia, choose “Eesti Vabariigi põhiseaduse ja kodakondsuse seaduse tundmise eksamile registreerimine”. This will open a page where you can view and check your contact data. If you want to receive notices regarding any changes to your data, you must check the e-notification box. An e-mail address will have to be provided in such a case.
- When the contact data has been checked, the user must click on “Salvesta andmed” to save the data.
- After the data has been saved, the registration page will open, allowing the user to select the time and place they wish to take the exam. It is also possible to choose whether the user wishes to receive the invitation to the exam and the notification of exam results at the postal address specified in the contact data or at their e-mail address (in the latter case, no notification will be sent to the home address on paper).
- After the user clicks on the “Salvesta andmed” command, the exam application will be sent to the National Examination and Qualification Centre.
- In order to check if the application was submitted correctly, the user must click on the option “Eesti Vabariigi põhiseaduse ja kodakondsuse seaduse tundmise eksami andmete vaatamine”. The page that opens should display the selected exam. Two weeks before the exam takes place, information regarding the exact place and time of the exam and the consultation will be available on the same page.
No later than 7 days after the exam the exam data page will also contain the exam result and the notification regarding the time and place of the transfer of the certificate. Furthermore, the page contains information regarding examinations taken earlier.
The Citizen’s portal can be accessed using the identity card or through an online banking service.
